 zed and provided platform at the Himalayan School of Science and Technolog
 y (HSST)\, Swami Rama Himalayan University\, on the 26th of October\, 2024
  for IEEE Student Members of Himalayan School of Science and Technology. I
 EEEXtreme is a global coding competition where IEEE student members compet
 e in teams to solve challenging problems over 24 continuous hours. The com
 petition provided an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate the
 ir problem-solving skills\, collaborate in teams\, and gain exposure to a 
 global technical community.\n\nPurpose of Organizing IEEEXtreme 18.0 at HS
 ST\n\nThe primary goal of organizing IEEEXtreme 18.0 was to provide a plat
 form for our students to showcase their technical and analytical abilities
 . This competition not only allowed students to explore diverse problem-so
 lving strategies but also served as an opportunity to represent the instit
 ution on an international platform.\n\nTeams Participated from HSST\n\nFou
 r dedicated teams from the Himalayan School of Science and Technology took
  part in IEEEXtreme 18.0\, demonstrating enthusiasm\, perseverance\, and a
  spirit of competition. The participating teams and their proctors are lis
 ted below:\n\n1. Team HackHive\n\n2. Team Nexus21\n\n3. Team Encore\n\n4. 
 Team TryHard\n\nEvent Proceedings\n\nThe event commenced precisely at 5:30
  AM on 26th October 2024 and continued uninterrupted for the next 24 hours
 . A well-equipped lab at the Himalayan School of Science and Technology wa
 s arranged for the participating teams\, providing them with a conducive e
 nvironment and the necessary resources. Dr. Vibhor Sharma and Dr. Deepak S
 rivastava\, the designated proctors for the participating teams\, ensured 
 that the participants had all the support they needed throughout the event
 .\n\nGlobal Participation\n\nIEEEXtreme 18.0 witnessed massive participati
 on on a global scale\, with a total of 8\,784 teams competing. The competi
 tion enabled students to engage with thousands of like-minded peers across
  the world\, all working towards solving the same challenges. This global 
 exposure allowed participants to expand their horizons and explore diverse
  approaches to complex problems.\n\nConclusion\n\nOrganizing and providing
  a platform for IEEEXtreme 18.0 was a significant achievement for the Hima
 layan School of Science and Technology. The event not only highlighted the
  technical talent present at our institution but also encouraged teamwork\
 , critical thinking\, and the development of innovative solutions. The par
 ticipation of four teams from HSST\, under the guidance of their proctors\
 , demonstrated a spirit of enthusiasm and perseverance.\n\nIEEEXtreme 18.0
