DESCRIPTION:The two-day Python Image Processing sessions\, organized under 
 the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS)\, were designed to give students 
 a hands-on learning experience with real-world applications of image proce
 ssing using Python.\n\nOn the first day\, we started with the basics\, int
 roducing students to essential libraries like OpenCV and PIL. They explore
 d fundamental techniques such as image manipulation\, filtering\, and edge
  detection\, building a strong foundation in image processing.\n\nDay two 
 was all about putting that knowledge into action. Students took on an exci
 ting challenge—building their own Automatic Number Plate Recognition (AN
 PR) system. With techniques like image preprocessing\, contour detection\,
  and Optical Character Recognition (OCR)\, they successfully created a wor
 king prototype.\n\nBy the end of the sessions\, participants didn’t just
  learn the theory—they walked away with practical skills and a real-worl
