DESCRIPTION:Radar for Space (RfS) is the focus group that encompasses all u
 ses of radar relevant to space\, including (i) space situational awareness
  and space domain awareness\, considering both ground-based and space-base
 d radar sensors\, and (ii) earth observation using space-based radar\; (ii
 i) sensing technologies and RF/ EM systems and components (iv) AI-based ap
 proaches for enhanced SDA/SSA.\n\nThe group’s main goals are in identify
 ing current challenges and gaps\, defining perspective directions of resea
 rch and successful strategies for collaboration\, as well as finding the c
 omplementarity of the expertise within the group and knowledge exchange. O
 ne of the intentions of the group activities is to form a recognized exper
 t structure that can be involved in policymaking and regulatory activities
  within the UK and internationally.\n\nResearch and development within the
  area of sensing\, SAR/ISAR imagery\, AI for image processing\, scene and 
 object characterization\, as well as SDA/SSA use case modelling and simula
