DESCRIPTION:On 22nd October 2024\, Prof. Aniket Singha (ECE\, IIT Kharagpur
 ) and Avishek Chatterjee (EE\, IIT Kharagpur) in association with the plac
 ement cell of Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) delivered a 2 hour sess
 ion at HIT in front of the 3rd and the 4th year students of Electrical Eng
 ineering (EE)\, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)\, and Appl
 ied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (AEIE) to motivate them to
  write GATE examination. It was addressed to the students how the GATE exa
 mination opens up the path to higher studies and public service jobs They 
 clarified to the students the exam pattern\, syllabus\, where to get quest
 ion banks from\, and how to prepare well for the exam. They also addressed
  many students&#39; queries related to higher studies in premier Indian instit
 utes. It is hoped that this will motivate and inspire students to appear i
 n the GATE exam\, perform well in the exam\, and pursue higher studies and
