DESCRIPTION:"ecoPRT" was originally conceived in response to a significant
need at North Carolina State University. For over a decade\, the master ar
chitectural plan for the NCSU campus has shown a transportation corridor m
arked “Future monorail” between the D.H. Hill library on Main campus a
nd the Hunt library on Centennial campus. ecoPRT is an project being desig
ned and prototyped to be the system that fills NCSU corridor. The interest
ing side effect of EcoPRT’s design at NCSU is that these same features m
ake EcoPRT suitable for thousands of circulator applications around the wo
rld. Because of its low cost\, small footprint and sensible design\, EcoPR
T can fit into a wide variety of environments including college campuses\,
business campuses\, airports\, shopping centers\, urban cores and large s
uburban developments.\n\nPlease refer to following link for more informati
on about ecoPRT project. Highly impressive Dr. Seth Hollar and his team wi
ll present about their project information involving ecoPRT.\n\nhttp://eco

ce involves interdisciplinary STEM approaches that focuses on discovery\,
interpretation and communication of meaningful patterns in location-based
data. This field develops and apply geospatial approaches to complex probl
ems\, advancing innovative solutions using spatial data. Dr. Justyna Jezi
orska from NCSU Center for Geospatial Analytics specializes in imagery pro
