  that can be solved in under an hour by a very skilled programmer having a
  good day. There will also be a bonus puzzle which is a bit harder than th

 l you can easily find yourself going down the wrong path!\n\nThe main poin
 t of this competition is to have fun! There will be &quot;geek gifts&quot; awarded t
 o the first local competitor and the first remote competitor to crack the 
 puzzle. There will also be a prize awarded to the first local competitor t
 o crack the bonus puzzle. Cash value of each prize is around $60.\n\nThe d

 er of a student branch in Region 6 NE Area (Boise\, Eastern ID\, Utah\, or
  one of the Montana sections) or SW area (Albuquerque\, Alamogordo-Holloma
 n\, Fort Huachuca\, Las Vegas\, Los Alamos/Northern New Mexico\, Phoenix\,
  San Diego\, or Tucson sections).\n\nParticipant categories: Local partici
 pants are those attending the student leadership training in Boise. All ot
 her participants are in the remote category.\n\nLocal contestants should b
 ring a laptop with the capability to run their favorite programming langua
 ge. The puzzle only requires general programming skills. It doesn&#39;t requir
