DESCRIPTION:The Educational Visit to BITS Pilani\, K.K. Birla Goa Campus\,
organized by the IEEE EMBS MIT-ADT Student Branch Chapter in association w
ith IEEE Pune Section on March 21\, 2025\, provided students with an immer
sive learning experience in cognitive neuroscience\, artificial intelligen
ce\, and brain-computer interfaces.\n\nThe visit commenced with an introdu
ction to the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab\, where students explored Electroe
ncephalography (EEG) technology. They learned about EEG data collection Th
e discussion emphasized how EEG technology is used in brain-computer inter
faces (BCI)\, neurofeedback training\, and mental health diagnostics.\n\nP
rof. Veeky Baths and Team\, presented research on dementia detection. They
 conducted a hands-on session on eye-tracking technology.\n\nThe next segm
ent of the visit involved an exploration of the iBrain Lab\, where researc
hers demonstrated the role of AI in cognitive development. Prof. Veeky Bat
hs and Team\, presented study on dementia.\n\nThey also introduced a study
comparing AI-driven learning tools versus traditional educational methods
.\n\nA group discussion followed\, where students from MIT ADT University
and BITS Pilani engaged with faculty and researchers. The discussion cover
ed career prospects in neuroscience and AI\, research opportunities\, and
potential collaborations between the two institutions.\n\nThe visit conclu
ded with the felicitation of Prof. Veeky Baths by Dr. Reena Pagare\, recog
nizing his contributions to neuroscience research and education.\n\nThis e
ducational visit provided valuable practical exposure to EEG technology\,
AI applications in neuroscience\, and emerging research trends\, fostering
an interdisciplinary approach to brain-computer interfaces\, cognitive sc
ience\, and artificial intelligence.\n\nAgenda: \n- Introduction & Welcome
 – Overview of the Healthcare Lab and its research focus.\n- Lab Tour &
Demonstrations – Exploration of cutting-edge healthcare technologies and
research projects.\n- Interaction with Researchers & Faculty – Discussi
on on methodologies\, challenges\, and innovations in healthcare technolog
y.\n- Technology Showcase – Presentation on AI-driven diagnostics\, IoT-
based health monitoring\, and assistive technologies.\n- Collaboration Opp
ortunities – Exploring potential research partnerships\, internships\, a
nd knowledge exchange programs.\n- Q&A Session – Addressing queries and
