DESCRIPTION:Hanover College Engineering Students enrolled the class ENGR 32
5 Embedded Microcomputer Systems fully embraced the use of Artificial Inte
lligence and Large Language Models to create and debug code for Arduino ba
sed applications in labs and individual projects. This talk presents that
experience as the class explored the practical and potential of these tool
s within an educational setting\, documenting successes and challenges. T
he class also noted existing experiences with this approach to establish b
est practices and realistic expectations for AI-assisted embedded developm
ent. This presentation is a part of their coursework and is presented duri
