DESCRIPTION:The Washington and Northern Virginia Sections proudly host the 
 2025 class of IEEE fellows from our sections for an evening of scientific 
 and engaging technical talks over dinner at the Hilton Capitol Hill in dow
 ntown Washington DC. Prior to the talks\, IEEE members will be able to soc
 ialize with the fellows during a reception with a selection of complimenta
 ry beer\, wine\, and soft drinks.\n\nThis year&#39;s class of fellows have spe
 nt their careers at local research institutions including NASA\, NIST\, AR
 L\, NRL\, UMD College Park\, and Virginia Tech. This class of fellows have
  contributed to a broad range of disciplines including high energy and qua
 ntum physics\, practical and theoretical cybersecurity\, and advanced spac
 e based Earth monitoring. All IEEE members in our sections are welcome to 
 attend a celebratory dinner to honor the recent class of fellows and atten
 d a seminar of technical talks on the fellows&#39; fields of expertise.\n\nThr
 oughout this event\, members will learn about the fellows&#39; unique contribu
 tions to Science and Engineering through a seminar of technical talks. The
  2025 class of fellows will present these technical talks on their career 
 contributions during a multiple course dinner following a reception with a
  selection of beer and wine. Afterwards\, members will socialize with the 
 fellows and other IEEE members from local sections. Our fellows&#39; diverse c
 ontributions promise to provide an entertaining evening for anyone interes
 ted in Science and research done by local IEEE members and for any member 
 who aspires to become a fellow themselves.\n\nSeating at the event the eve
 nt will be limited\, so please register as soon as possible. The dress cod
