DESCRIPTION:The Nancy Grace Roman space telescope is the next NASA astrophy
 sics flagship mission and is on track for launch in late CY2026. This talk
  will introduce the mission and review the optical design and development 
 within the telescope.\n\nOur speaker is Dr. Dave Content\, of NASA GSFC:\n
 \n[]\n\nDr. Dave Content has worked at NASA GSFC since 1988 as an optical 
 engineer\, technologist\, systems engineer\, and project manager. He compl
 eted a BA at Hamilton College\, and a Ph.D. in physics at John Hopkins Uni
 versity\, both in physics. He has worked on the Roman Space Telescope (for
 merly WFIRST) since its inception in 2008. He is the deputy project manage
 r / technical lead.\n\nPlease be sure to register so we can order enough f

  place in Parsons Auditorium located in Lobby 1 of JHU APL&#39;s campus. Lobby
