  mentors who attended this event. There were over 5\,000 people at this ev
 ent and numerous interactions throughout the competition. The Important is
 sues to recognize are as follows.\n\n- Quality Mentorship is of value with
  support financially\, parents\, boosters and motivation of the students.\
 n- It takes time to develop a program. Midtown HS went from nearly last in
  the state of Ga to qualifying for the world robotics competition in 8th p
 lace. This is over a period of 3 years.\n- There is a good mix of students
  including minorities and girls that are engaged in STEM activities.\n\nTh
