DESCRIPTION:As part of IEEE Education Week\, the IEEE AESS Tunisia Chapter
proudly hosted a technical session on:\n\n“Introduction to AI in Aerospa
ce: Edge Computer Vision Techniques and Overcoming MLOps Challenges in Spa
ce”\nSaturday\, April 12th\, 2025 | 8:00 PM (GMT+1) | Microsoft Teams\n\
nWe had the pleasure of welcoming Kayoum Djedidi\, a passionate researcher
and IEEE leader\, who shared his expertise in the convergence of AI and a
erospace systems. Kayoum\, currently a PhD candidate at INRS Montreal and
co-founder of OORB\, captivated the audience with real-world insights on:\
n\n-\nEdge AI for space-based computer vision\n\n-\nThe complexity of depl
oying machine learning in orbit\n\n-\nMLOps strategies adapted to extreme
environments\n\nThe session attracted 32 Engaged participants\, including
students\, young professionals\, and AI enthusiasts\, all eager to explore
the possibilities of intelligent aerospace technologies.\n\nKayoum's dyna
mic presentation and approachable explanations made complex topics accessi
ble and sparked valuable questions and discussions. His journey as an IEEE
volunteer also inspired attendees to get involved and make an impact in t
heir own fields.\n\nIt was a successful evening of learning\, inspiration\
, and community\, reinforcing our belief in the power of knowledge sharing
to shape the future of aerospace innovation.\n\nVirtual: https://events.v
