 goes through the electrification of the economy and it is supported by ren
 ewables within a sustainable energy model.\nThis means a change of paradig
 m which heads towards an immediate exciting future full of challenges at a
 ll levels associated with flexibility in its widest conception. It is assu
 med that a change of paradigm\, that requires changing the focus from acti
 ve based asset management towards the digitalization that ensures resilien
 cy and security for the future electric systems.\nIn this context\, we nee
 d to contribute and stimulate the exchange of ideas from different perspec
 tives and experiences\, creating a framework of reflection through these s
 eries of webinars. The expected benefit and impact is the identification o
 f opportunities within the complexity associated with the change of paradi

  Modelling and Analysis of Converter Driven Power System\n\nContenido: The
  number of power electronics converters connected to electrical networks h
 as been growing exponentially as they are part of all new generation conne
 cted to the grid. While the rapid control and fast electronic switching av
 ailable with this technology offer flexibility in network operation\, the 
 dynamic interactions between several of them threaten the operational stab
 ility of the transmission grid is a concern. It is required to develop a m
 ethodology for identifying the risks associated with the stability and con
 trol interaction before a new power electronic device (e.g. Windfarm\, int
 erconnector\, STATCOM) is introduced to the network.\n\nThe talk will focu
 s on an analytical framework in impedance domain to quantify the interacti
 on between the new plant and the rest of the network for setting additiona
 l grid connection study specifications which will include detail technical
  study to check and mitigate the risks associated with new power electroni
 cs interfaced generation. The framework developed is to support MMC techno
 logy\, control delay\, system strength and FRT capability of dynamic volta
 ge support devices and windfarm through technical case study conducted at 
 the research group of Bikash Pal at Imperial College London. Future resear
