DESCRIPTION:A team of 6 students from Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Tec
 hnology and Management(SMVITM)\, Bantakal conducted a Mentoring Program fo
 r the project PaperPro SustainaBot for a week at Atal Tinkering Lab of S.R
  PUBLIC SCHOOL\, Hebri from July 20-27 2025 under SIGHT Initiative of IEEE
  Mangalore Subsection and ATL mentoring program in association with IEEE S
 tudent Branch of SMVITM.\n\nThe mentoring sessions were conducted under th
 e coordination and Guidance of Mr. Nagaraja Rao\, IEEE SB Coordinator\, SM
 VITM and in the presence of Mrs. Bhagavathi\, Principal\, S.R. Public Scho
 ol\, Hebri\, and Mrs. Pratheeksha Acharya\, ATL Coordinator\, SR Public Sc
 hool\, Hebri. On the first day\, the student team—Vinish Acharya\, Aarus
 h Shetty\, and Akarsh A Shetty (all from 8th Std) presented their project 
 idea –“ PaperPro SustainaBot” . Their concept was reviewed for techn
 ical feasibility\, and a structured work plan was finalized for the week.\
 n\nThe second day focused on basic electronics and circuit building\, prov
 iding participants with hands-on experience in setting up simple circuits.
  On the third day\, attention shifted to the mechanical structure of the r
 obot. The fourth day involved assembling various components of the recycli
 ng unit\, including the shredding and pulping mechanisms.\n\nOn the fifth 
 and sixth days\, the focus was on programming the microcontroller like ard
 uino mega and uno\,identifying and resolving software bugs\, and ensuring 
 system logic functionality. The final day concluded with the integration o
 f hardware and software\, followed by successful testing and execution of 
 the complete robot setup.\n\nThe mentoring program was both educational an
 d enjoyable\, with participation from the students.. The project\, PaperPr
 o SustainaBot\, has also been selected for the National-Level STEM Innovat
 ion League (Delhi)\, organized by STEMROBO\, one of India’s largest AI a
 nd Robotics competitions.\n\nStudents from the ECE Department\, SMVITM –
  K. Narayan Prabhu\, Divyanth\, Preetham\, Karthik Patil\, Madhusudhan S.\
 , and K. Anusha Prabhu served as resource persons and guided students thro
 ughout the sessions. Their support and clear guidance helped ensure smooth
