 Northern Aegean Sea: Acoustic Behavior and the Impact of Noise on the Spec
 ies\,&quot; led by our IEEE Young Professionals Türkiye Signal Processing Soci
 ety Representative Melike Girgin\, under the guidance of her advisor Prof.
  Dr. Tayfun Akgül\, in collaboration with the Turkish Marine Research Fou
 ndation (TUDAV).\n\nThis exciting project aims to investigate the acoustic
  behavior of snapping shrimps\, one of the loudest marine creatures in the
  world\, and the impact of environmental noise on them in the Northern Aeg
 ean Sea. The project area covers the Northern Aegean waters\, including th
 e regions around Gökçeada and Gelibolu.\n\nThe goal of the project is to
  collect acoustic and visual data on snapping shrimps\, share this informa
 tion through an online database\, and contribute to the conservation of ma
 rine biodiversity.\n\nThe project is supported by a $9\,500 funding grant 
 from the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) in partnership with EPIC
 S in IEEE.\n\nThe meeting will cover the project scope\, objectives\, coll
 aboration details\, and funding support from the IEEE Industry Application
 s Society (IAS) and EPICS in IEEE. Additionally\, the progress\, academic
