  workshops in 2021 (Workshop I) and Workshop II\, the IEEE Thompson Okanag
 an Section\, in collaboration with Okanagan College Student Branch\, is pl
 eased to present a new hands-on workshop led by the next generation of stu
 dent researchers. The event is organized under the supervision of Dr. Your
 y Khmelevsky and supported by the Digital Research Alliance of Canada.\n--

 Leaders\n\nKristina Cormier\n\nKristina is a 4th-year Computer Science stu
 dent at Okanagan College and a research assistant specializing in data war
 ehouse design for multiple-source forest inventory management and image pr

 e-processing/).\n\nHelana Jaraiseh\n\nHelana is a Computing Science gradua
 te from the University of the Fraser Valley. She has a strong foundation i
 n software development gained through research and co-op experiences\, and
  has worked with languages and frameworks such as Java\, Ruby on Rails\, F
 lutter\, and React. Helana is passionate about solutions that support comm
 unities. She thrives on connecting with new people and learning from new p
 erspectives in life\, and she enjoys self-directed learning during her spa
 re time.\n\nDr. Youry Khmelevsky\n\nDr. Khmelevsky holds a Ph.D. in Comput
 er Science and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. His current research in
 terests include software engineering\, cloud and high-performance computin
 g\, enterprise-wide information systems\, the no-programming paradigm\, an
 d interdisciplinary applied computer science. He has served as a postdocto
 ral fellow at Harvard University\, a Visiting Scientist at MIT CSAIL\, and
  an Invited Researcher at Sorbonne University (Paris\, France). He has als
 o held engineering and R&amp;D positions in Europe and North America\, includi
 ng at Alberta Energy\, a division of the Government of Alberta.\n---------
