DESCRIPTION:-\nThe proposed event\, MYOSA Kerala – Project Expo-cum-Compe
tition\, is to be held as part of the Yearly Engineering Students Summit (
YESS 2025)\, hosted at NIT Calicut.\n\n-\nTaking inspiration from the succ
ess of MYOSA 3.0\, we are organizing a project expo cum competition focuse
d on sensors to create awareness about emerging sensor technologies and MY
OSA sensor kits at the local level. This initiative not only encourages st
udent engineers to design technically sound solutions but also ensures tha
t their innovations remain socially relevant and impactful.\n\n-\nA unique
aspect of this competition is the encouragement to utilize the MYOSA kit
as a foundation for prototyping.\n\n-\nEach participating team will compri
se four members\, with the stipulation that at least one member must be an
IEEE Sensors Council member and at least one member must be a woman. Thes
e requirements ensure stronger engagement with the IEEE Sensors community
while also promoting inclusivity and gender diversity.\n\n-\nThe competiti
on will adopt an expo-style format\, allowing teams to present and demonst
rate their projects in an interactive setting. Evaluation criteria will em
 phasize innovation\, feasibility\, technical rigor\, and societal impact\,
ensuring that submissions are assessed both for engineering depth and for
their broader relevance.\n\n-\nBy situating MYOSA Kerala within YESS 2025
\, the largest engineering student summit in India with an expected partic
ipation of over 4000 delegates\, the event is poised for high visibility a
nd impact. Students will gain recognition\, exposure\, and opportunities t
o network\, while the broader community benefits from a showcase of talent
and emerging ideas.\n\nThis aligns directly with the Council’s mission
of advancing sensor technology awareness and adoption among students.\n\nC
 o-sponsored by: IEEE Kerala Section\n\nAgenda: \n09:30 – 10:00\n\nRegist
