DESCRIPTION:IEEE JUIT Student Branch conducted interviews for first-year st
 udents to assess their basic technical knowledge and gauge their interest 
 in becoming active members of the IEEE community at Jaypee University of I
 nformation Technology.\n\nThe interviews were conducted by the current cou
 ncil members along with faculty counsellors. The objective was to identify
  enthusiastic students who are keen to learn\, contribute\, and participat
 e in technical and community-oriented activities organized by IEEE JUIT-SB
 .\n\nKey Highlights of the Interview Session:\n\n🔹 Introduction &amp; Orien
 tation – The session began with a brief introduction to IEEE\, its objec
 tives\, benefits of membership\, and the opportunities available for stude
 nts at JUIT.\n\n🔹 Technical Knowledge Assessment – First-year student
 s were evaluated on basic technical concepts\, problem-solving skills\, an
 d logical reasoning relevant to engineering fundamentals.\n\n🔹 Interest
  &amp; Motivation Evaluation – Students were asked about their motivation to
  join IEEE\, areas of interest (like robotics\, coding\, or technical work
 shops)\, and willingness to actively participate in events and initiatives
 .\n\n🔹 Interaction &amp; Q&amp;A – The interviewers engaged students in discu
 ssions about recent technological trends\, projects\, and practical applic
 ations to understand their curiosity and aptitude.\n\n🔹 Selection &amp; Rec
 ommendations – Based on performance and enthusiasm\, students were short
 listed for IEEE membership. Recommendations were also given for skill deve
 lopment and areas to focus on for active participation in branch activitie
 s.\n\nEncouragement &amp; Guidance – Faculty counsellors and senior members 
 encouraged all participants to continue learning and motivated them to mak
