DESCRIPTION:This event includes a two-part deployment of IEEE MOVE in Houst

  Spring Woods High School. The event will open with a press event with Sta
 te Representative Lacey Hull&#39;s office and a check presentation from AT&amp;T t
 o the Texas DPS Troopers Foundation. Charles Stein (AT&amp;T External &amp; Legisl
 ative Affairs Director) will provide opening remarks alongside Texas House
  District 138 and Texas DPS Troopers. Laptops will be distributed to 75 st
 udents and the latest edition of IEEE Spectrum Magazine will be included i
 n each bag. A fleet vehicle expo featuring Texas DPS Troopers Foundation a
 nd Houston Police Department will inspire students to purse STEM careers a
 cross first responders professions through immersive experiences. IEEE MOV
 E will participate in the expo with a table\, signage\, and giveaways. AT&amp;
 T volunteers will also teach online safety and digital citizenship courses
 .\n\nPART 2 - IEEE MOVE Day at Houston City College (HCC is formerly Houst
 on Community College) Spring Branch Campus. IEEE MOVE will be the sole veh
 icle featured and will engage students\, staff and administration to highl
 ight first responder careers. HCC will convene its centers of excellence (
 IT\, public safety\, engineering) to attract students toward membership in
  IEEE and the community college systems bridge pathways into 4-year engine
 ering degrees. The Public Engagement Officer for Houston City Council Memb
 er Amy Peck will provide opening remarks along with Charles Stein (R5 Indu
 stry Engagement Liaison) and HCC Officials. Council Member Peck chairs the
