DESCRIPTION:Event: Robo-Autonomous Car: Build and Program Workshop\nConduct
ed by: Women in Engineering Affinity Group\, IEEE WIE AG SB GCEK\n\nThe Ro
botic Autonomous Car Workshop\, conducted by the Women in Engineering Affi
nity Group\, IEEE\, is an event designed to promote women's participation
in STEM fields while being open to all students from various engineering b
ranches. The workshop will provide hands-on experience in robotics and aut
onomous systems\, developing problem-solving skills\, creativity\, and inn
ovation. With 30% of seats reserved for women\, they will have a higher ch
ance of participation\, and as an added incentive\, they will receive a 10
% waiver on the registration fee. The event aims to foster interdisciplina
ry collaboration\, networking\, and knowledge sharing among participants\,
enhancing their employability and career prospects. Both boys and girls f
rom EEE\, Electrical\, Electronics\, Mechanical\, Computer Science\, and o
ther branches can participate\, gaining practical skills and knowledge in
robotics and autonomous systems.\n\nObjective: To provide a platform for w
omen engineering students from various branches (EEE\, Electrical\, Electr
onics\, Mechanical\, Computer Science\, and others) to gain hands-on exper
ience in robotics and autonomous systems\, promoting their participation a
nd excellence in STEM fields.\n\nBenefits for Women:\n\n- Develops problem
-solving skills\, creativity\, and innovation\n- Enhances employability an
d career prospects in robotics and autonomous systems\n- Provides opportun
ities for networking with peers and experts in the field\n- Fosters confid
ence and self-reliance in tackling complex engineering challenges\n- Encou
rages interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing among particip
ants from different engineering branches\n\nBenefits for Participants from
 Various Branches:\n\n- EEE/Electrical: Exposure to sensor integration\, m
otor control\, and power systems in robotics\n- Electronics: Hands-on expe
rience with microcontrollers\, programming\, and circuit design\n- Mechani
cal: Understanding of mechanical design\, prototyping\, and testing of aut
onomous vehicles\n- Computer Science: Development of algorithms\, programm
ing\, and software development for autonomous systems\n- Other branches: I
nterdisciplinary learning and application of concepts to real-world proble
ms\n\nWorkshop Structure:\n\n- Lectures and hands-on sessions on robotics\
, autonomous systems\, and programming\n- Team-based projects and challeng
es to develop autonomous cars\n- Expert guidance and mentorship from indus
try professionals and faculty members\n- Opportunities for participants to
showcase their projects and innovations\n\nExpected Outcomes:\n\n- Partic
ipants will gain practical skills and knowledge in robotics and autonomous
systems\n- Increased interest and participation of women in STEM fields\n
- Development of innovative solutions and projects that can be showcased i
n academic and industrial settings\n- Enhanced collaboration and networkin
g among women engineering students from various branches.\n\nGovernment Co
