 E volunteers experimented with utilization of NVIS radio to meet emergency
  communication needs to reach across Puerto Rico's geographically challeng
 ing mountain regions and gain contact within the whole country. The antenn
 as utilized are designed to send the main lobe of transmission straight up
  into the upper atmosphere before being reflected back across the region a
 nd heard by those within the reflection's coverage. Both voice and digital
  transmissions can be accommodated to support Puerto Rico's needs.\n\nJoin
