DESCRIPTION:This initiative is part of IEEE CIS Kenya’s mission to foster
early engagement in computational intelligence. It is designed to introdu
ce high school students (ages 12–18) and their teachers to fundamental c
oncepts of Computational Intelligence (CI) through interactive workshops a
nd mentorship. The program provides hands-on exposure to neural networks\,
  fuzzy logic\, evolutionary computation\, design thinking\, IoT\, virtual
reality\, and AI.\n\nThe main objectives that we aim to achieve at the end
of this program will be:\n\n-\nHelp develop an early interest in computat
ional intelligence concepts among high school students.\n\n-\nProvide intr
oductory knowledge on fuzzy logic\, neural networks\, and evolutionary com
putation\, the key areas in the computational intelligence field.\n\n-\nCo
nduct interactive workshops to enhance problem-solving and design-thinking
skills within their local communities.\n\n-\nPromote diversity and inclus
ivity by engaging schools in underserved areas and giving them access to r
esources.\n\n-\nPrepare students for careers in STEM by providing knowledg
e and resources on computational intelligence.\n\nCo-sponsored by: IEEE Tr
