DESCRIPTION:The project “Hill Harvest – Farm to Table Marketplace” ha
s been developed as a digital prototype to empower farmers in the hilly re
gions of Himachal Pradesh. Agriculture in these regions faces multiple cha
llenges such as difficult terrain\, lack of modern farming equipment\, nat
ural disasters\, and the exploitative role of middlemen. This application
aims to address these challenges by providing farmers with direct access t
 o markets\, resource sharing opportunities\, and community collaboration p
latforms.\n\nThe app has been designed with two primary modules—Farmer M
odule and Customer Module. The Farmer Module allows crop and equipment lis
 ting\, order tracking\, transaction history\, and transport integration\,
while the Customer Module enables browsing of agro-products\, managing sho
pping carts\, and directly communicating with farmers. Features such as tr
 ansparent pricing\, real-time farmer-customer chat\, and transport booking
ensure fairness and convenience for both stakeholders.\n\nThe expected ou
tcomes include fair and increased income for farmers\, access to fresh pro
duce at reasonable prices for customers\, employment generation for local
transport providers\, and long-term sustainability through digital empower
ment. The project also envisions future enhancements like digital payments
 \, AI-based recommendations\, B2B and B2C expansion\, collaborations with
government bodies (B2G)\, logistics partnerships\, and international brand
ing of hill produce.\n\nThis project was successfully completed under the
guidance of Prof. Hemant Sood and Dr. Nancy Singla\, whose mentorship was
invaluable throughout the process. The development team members include Ke
shav Khandelwal\, Tania Mehta\, Harsh Singh\, and Shivam Sharma\, who work
ed together to bring this idea to reality.\n\nIn conclusion\, Hill Harvest
is currently a prototype that demonstrates how digital technology can bri
dge the gap between farmers and customers. With further development and sc
aling\, it holds the potential to transform the agricultural ecosystem of
 Himachal Pradesh and beyond.\n\nm\n\nRoom: LT-3\, Bldg: Academic Block\, J
