It houses 28 restored and flyable World War II aircraft and o ther vehicles along a Museum of WWII Aviation. Our docent-lead tour will t ake us through the Museum and view the aircraft and restoration facilities . We will end the tour at the Interactive Exhibits area where we can obser ve an operational WWII Link trainer along with other Interactive Exhibits. We will see a Student Simulation Lab partially funded by Pike Peak Sectio n and Life Member Affinity Groups where UCCS Student Interns and Students develop flight simulations of WWII Aviation.\n\nFollowing the tour\, parti cipants can join the group if you wish for lunch at the unique Airplane Re staurant\, an aviation themed restaurant with Air Force Tanker attached lo cated nearby.
