DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Student Branch\, MBU\, in association with The TECH
‘NOVA’ Club\, the Department of Computer Science Engineering of MBU\,
hosted an exciting event titled “Inverse Logic” on August 20\, 2025\,
from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Room No. 353\, Computer Block. The event brough
t together curious minds for a unique reverse coding contest that challeng
ed conventional problem-solving approaches. The aim of Inverse Logic was t
o sharpen students’ logical thinking and programming skills by flipping
the usual coding format. Instead of being given inputs\, participants were
shown outputs and asked to figure out the logic and write the code that c
ould produce those results. This twist encouraged more profound analysis a
nd creative thinking.\n\nThe event was coordinated by Mr. VIMALRAJ. E\, As
sistant Professor in the CSE Department\, who ensured smooth planning and
execution. Thirty enthusiastic students took part\, showing great energy a
nd focus throughout the contest. Their performance across all rounds refle
cted strong engagement and a willingness to tackle complex challenges.\n\n
The contest was held in three rounds: Round 1 – Qualifier\, featuring pa
 ttern-based outputs (numbers\, strings\, symbols)\; Round 2 – Intermedia
te\, focused on logical and mathematical outputs (such as finding nth term
 s and problem-based results)\; and Round 3 – Advanced\, involving comple
 x outputs like encryption\, sorting\, and simulations.—each increasing i
n difficulty. Students worked on pattern-based outputs\, mathematical logi
c\, and even encryption and simulations. They were free to use C\, C++\, J
ava\, or Python\, and their solutions were judged on correctness\, efficie
ncy\, and clarity.\n\nParticipants walked away with valuable takeaways. Th
ey improved their coding skills\, learned to think in reverse\, and develo
ped faster debugging techniques. The contest also helped them prepare for
real-world coding interviews and hackathons\, boosting their confidence an
d employability.\n\nThe organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all parti
cipants for their energetic involvement. The positive feedback from studen
ts and faculty highlighted the event’s success and ignited interest in m
ore such innovative contests in the future.\n\nSpeaker(s): VIMALRAJ. E\, \
