DESCRIPTION:On 21st September 2025\, IEEE Robotics and Automation Society S
 BC TKMCE organized an\nengaging membership development session titled “S
 tep into Robotics and Automation.” The\nsession commenced at 4:30 PM and
  was conducted through Google Meet. The guest speaker\nwas Ms. Angel Joy\,
  Membership Development Coordinator\, IEEE RAS Kerala Chapter.\n\nThe spea
 ker began the session by quoting Mark Twain: “The secret of getting ahea
 d is getting\nstarted.” She provided a brief introduction to the IEEE Ro
 botics and Automation Society\n(RAS) and highlighted its global presence w
 ith 19\,000+ members across 120+ countries.\n\nThe session focused on the 
 opportunities available for IEEE RAS members\, including the\nSustainabili
 ty Grant\, IROS Social Media Ambassadors Program\, ROBOIGNITE initiative\,
  and\nMember Support Program. Ms. Angel Joy elaborated on the benefits of 
 membership\, such\nas networking\, career development\, skill building thr
 ough access to leading journals\, and\nleadership opportunities through vo
 lunteering.\n\nShe also gave an overview of the vibrant activities of the 
 IEEE RAS Kerala Section\, mentioning\nflagship initiatives like PRAYANA an
 d AKRASC\, as well as various hackathons\, competitions\,\nconferences\, a
 nd technical events. She emphasized that the Kerala Section has 36 active\
 nSBCs with over 700 members\, organizing 50+ annual events. Furthermore\, 
 she explained\nthe range of resources available to members\, including pub
 lications\, journals\, conferences\,\ngrants\, and scholarships.\n\nThe se
 ssion concluded at 5:10 PM after an interactive discussion\, where partici
 pants actively\nengaged with the speaker and clarified their doubts. A tot
 al of 38 participants attended the\nsession\, gaining valuable insights in
 to the importance of IEEE RAS membership and the\nprofessional opportuniti
