DESCRIPTION:On 20th September 2025\, the IEEE Computer Society Chandigarh U
 niversity Student Branch Chapter (SBC)\, in collaboration with the IEEE Co
 mputer Society IEM Student Branch Chapter (SBC)\, successfully organized a
 n insightful and knowledge-enriching session titled “Road to Richard E. 
 Merwin Scholarship”.\n\nThe session was delivered by Ms. Nyasha Saurabh\
 , Former Chairperson of IEEE CS Chandigarh University SBC\, Richard E. Mer
 win (REM) Scholar 2024\, and currently a Network Engineer at Capgemini.\n\
 nMs. Nyasha drew upon her own first-hand journey as an REM Scholar to prov
 ide participants with an in-depth understanding of the scholarship and its
  significance. She explained the application process in detail\, highlight
 ing the importance of leadership qualities\, impactful contributions to IE
 EE\, and strong technical and communication skills. Participants were guid
 ed on how to effectively structure their applications\, present achievemen
 ts\, and demonstrate leadership and community engagement to increase their
  chances of selection.\n\nThe session also included an interactive Q&amp;A seg
 ment\, where attendees clarified their doubts regarding eligibility\, appl
 ication tips\, and the selection process. Ms. Nyasha shared practical stra
 tegies\, do’s and don’ts\, and real-world insights from her personal e
 xperience\, making the session highly engaging and relatable for students 
 aspiring to apply for the scholarship.\n\nThe collaboration between IEEE C
 S Chandigarh University SBC and IEEE CS IEM SBC played a crucial role in e
 nsuring the event’s success\, enabling smooth coordination and maximum o
 utreach. The active participation of students further enriched the session
 \, as their questions and enthusiasm contributed to a dynamic exchange of
