DESCRIPTION:Aim\n\nThe aim of this event is to promote IEEE on campus. It i
s hoped that by the end of the day\, many more STEM majors on campus will
be aware of the existence and benefits of being an IEEE member\, and engag
ing in IEEE-sponsored events both on campus and globally.\n\nStructure\n\n
This year’s event is designed to be a fair. It is modelled after the Imm
ersive Gallery Walkway during the Undergraduate Research Festival that was
organised last year on campus. The organising team reviewed and selected
13 IEEE societies and affinity groups reflecting the general interests on
campus. Each of these groups will be featured on a board using posters (th
e general outline of these posters is given in the appendix). Two addition
al boards will be set up - one to spotlight IEEE competitions\, and anothe
r for conferences. In all\, there will be 15 display boards.\n\nThere will
also be pull-up banners of as many IEEE societies as can be featured on i
t displayed on one end of the arena\, to promote other groups we may not b
e able to feature\, as well as to provide a backdrop for participants to t
ake pictures. In addition\, there will be a table for interested members t
o register or renew their membership. We will have at least two people wit
h bank cards who can help interested persons who do not have a VISA or Mas
tercard register. A total of approximately 20 volunteers will be in charge
of the event. There will also be light snacks at the event.\n\nOn the Ash
esi campus\, students typically have 15-minute breaks between the 1.5-hour
  periods. These are at 9:30-9:45 am\, 11:15-11:30 am\, 1:00-1:15 pm\, and
2:45-3:00 pm. We are targeting having students pass through the event duri
ng these breaks\, or during the class periods between these breaks when th
ey do not have class.\n\nCo-sponsored by: Ashesi University Engineering De
 partment\n\nAgenda: \nProgram Starts: 9:00 am\n\nSpotlighting various comm
 ittees - During the breaks\n\nProgram Ends: 4:00 pm\n\nBldg: The Box\, 1 U
