DESCRIPTION:This event is free to attend\, but registration is required. [R
SVP Now](https://forms.gle/BqMJLexaR2Ti1Y2K8)\n\nIEEE Day is a celebration
of innovation\, collaboration\, and the power of technology to shape a be
tter future. This year\, our focus is on the theme "Ocean\, Arctic\, and R
emote-Tech"\, areas of profound importance for our region and the world. O
ur goal is to bring together undergraduate and graduate students\, researc
hers\, and professionals across disciplines to explore challenges and oppo
rtunities in these domains. From climate change and sustainable oceans to
connectivity in remote regions\, these are global issues that demand multi
disciplinary collaboration and creative thinking.\n\nThe event will begin
with an Inspiration Session\, with contributions expected from Civil\, Ele
ctrical and Computer\, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering\, and Compu
ter Science\, as well as other related fields.\n\nSpeakers will share thei
r perspectives in 10–15 minute talks\, ranging from ongoing research and
open issues to useful tools\, datasets\, and examples that can spark new
ideas. The goal is to encourage students to look across disciplines\, conn
ect the dots\, and imagine creative ways to tackle real problems that matt
er for our region and beyond.\n\nIn short\, the Inspiration Session will:\
n\n- Highlight key challenges and open questions in ocean\, Arctic\, and r
emote technologies.\n- Share research directions\, tools\, and datasets to
spark curiosity.\n- Encourage grad and undergrad students to think across
disciplines to find creative solutions.\n\nThis event is free to attend\,
but registration is required. [RSVP Now](https://forms.gle/BqMJLexaR2Ti1Y
2K8)\n\nLooking Ahead\n\nAfter the Inspiration Session\, students will hav
e the chance to develop their ideas further and later showcase projects in
spired by the talks. More details about this follow-up activity will be sh
ared soon.\n\nThis event is free to attend\, but registration is required.
