DESCRIPTION:CODE YOUR FIRST LINE-FOLLOWER WORKSHOP\n\nLocation: Classroom 2
43\n\nDate: 11 October 2025\n\nTime: 2 PM\n\nAttendees: 25\n\nTrainers: Ed
am Hbaieb & Adam Daly\n\nABOUT THE EVENT\n\nAnimated by Edam Hbaieb and Ad
am Daly\, and as part of IEEE DAY\, the “CODE YOUR FIRST LINE-FOLLOWER
” Workshop offered a necessary experience for coding beginners to the EN
SI ROBOCUP challenge to learn and participate in understanding the core pr
inciples of coding a line-follower robot\, an integral part of their journ
ey towards a working prototype to participate with as one of our Chapter
’s submissions to the challenge. The attendees\, through hands-on experi
ence\, careful guidance\, and comprehensive education around the different
steps to code sensors and activate servo-motors\, got to experience an in
teractive workshop that will build knowledge for them whether to help with
what they need in this upcoming challenge or in more down the line.\n\nAg
enda: \nEVENT LOGISTICS AND SCHEDULE\n\nAfter the participants checked in
and got seated\, they got immersed into the workshop with a basic lesson o
n sensor physics\, specifically photo-diodes and infra-red sensors\, so th
ey can better understand what they’re signing up for. Later they started
testing basic movement when the sensor detects the black line and injecti
ng the movement of the wheel motor when needed. Around 4 PM\, the coffee b
reak was ready to accommodate the participants who quickly returned to fin
alize the integration of the sensors and their code into the robot’s mai
n program.\n\nRoom: 243\, 676 centre Urbain Nord Bp\, Tunis\, Centre Urbai
