DESCRIPTION:1. Overview\n\nDates:\n\n-\nSession 1: October 8\, 2025\n\n-\nS
ession 2: October 14\, 2025\n\nDuration: 2 hours each.\nLocation: ENIT\nOr
ganized by: IEEE RAS-SEN ENIT SB Joint Chapter in collaboration with IEEE
ENIT SB SIGHT Group.\n\nOccasion: IEEE DAY CELEBRATION.\n\n2. Objectives\n
\nThe goals of this two-session Robotics Bootcamp were to:\n\n-\nIntroduce
participants to the fundamentals of robotics and mechatronic systems.\n\n
-\nProvide hands-on experience in robot design\, mechanical conception\, a
nd control systems.\n\n3. Summary of Activities\n\nSession 1: How to Build
Your Robot: (October 8\, 2025)\nThis first workshop offered an inspiring
introduction to robotics. Participants began by exploring the core concept
s of robotics\, understanding what defines a robot\, its main components\,
and the relationship between mechanics\, electronics\, and programming.\n
\nThe session then moved into a practical segment focusing on mechanical d
esign using SolidWorks. Attendees learned how to conceptualize and model a
basic robot structure\, taking into account key principles such as balanc
e\, movement\, and component placement.\n\nSession 2: Arduino for Robotics
: (October 14\, 2025)\nThe second session of the bootcamp introduced parti
cipants to Arduino programming and hardware integration\, marking the next
step in the journey from design to functional robotics.\n\nStudents learn
ed the fundamentals of Arduino architecture\, explored key components such
as sensors\, motors\, and actuators\, and discovered how to connect and c
ontrol them effectively. The session covered basic coding in the Arduino I
DE\, enabling participants to write\, upload\, and test their first robot
control programs.\n\n4. Attendance\n\nNumber of Participants: 25 participa
nts for session 1 and 21 participants for session 2.\n\nThe bootcamp gathe
red students from various engineering backgrounds who shared a common pass
ion for innovation\, technology\, and robotics.\n\n5. Outcomes\, Feedback
& Conclusion\n\nSkills and Knowledge Gained:\n\n-\nRobotics fundamentals\n
\n-\nSolidWorks design\n\n-\nArduino coding & circuit integration\n\n-\nTe
amwork and problem-solving\n\nConclusion:\nThe two-session Robotics Bootca
mp was a resounding success\, offering participants a complete introductio
n to the robot creation process\, from conception to control.\n\nSession1:
