DESCRIPTION:A hands-on session on “Usage of LaTeX for M.Tech Thesis Writi
 ng” was conducted by Mrs. Swathi Hatwar H for M.Tech scholars on October
  10\, 2025\, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The session aimed to familiarize stu
 dents with the use of LaTeX for professional and structured thesis documen
 tation.\n\nMrs. Swathi Hatwar provided an insightful overview of the advan
 tages of using LaTeX over conventional word processors for academic writin
 g. The session included a step-by-step demonstration of creating and forma
 tting a thesis in LaTeX\, converting existing Word-based templates such as
  the cover page\, certificate page\, and guideline documents into LaTeX fo
 rmat.\n\nDuring the practical session\, participants learned to:\n\n-\nInc
 lude PDF and image files within LaTeX documents\n\n-\nInsert tables\, equa
 tions\, and figures effectively\n\n-\nCreate chapters\, sections\, and sub
 sections with automatic numbering\n\n-\nAdd headers\, footers\, and instit
 utional logos\n\n-\nManage spacing\, pagination\, and formatting commands 
 for a professional appearance\n\nA total of 46 M. Tech. students actively 
 participated in the workshop and gained valuable practical experience. The
  participants appreciated the clarity of explanation and the real-time dem
 onstration of LaTeX functionalities.\n\nThis event was sponsored by the IE
