DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Consumer Technology Society (CTSoc) and Computational
Intelligence Society (CIS) jointly organized a Tech Talk on “Next-Genera
tion AI in Healthcare” on 13th October 2025. The session aimed to provid
e participants with a deeper understanding of the latest advancements in a
rtificial intelligence and their impact on the healthcare industry.\n\nThe
talk was delivered by Dr. Ashok Kumar Pradhan\, an esteemed faculty membe
r from SRM University\, who shared his expertise on three pivotal domains
—Explainable AI (XAI)\, Federated Learning (FL)\, and Generative AI. He
discussed how these emerging technologies are enhancing decision-making pr
ocesses\, improving patient outcomes\, and ensuring ethical and privacy-pr
eserving applications in healthcare systems.\n\nThe event witnessed active
participation from students\, faculty members\, and professionals who eng
aged enthusiastically during the interactive Q&A session. Attendees apprec
iated the clarity with which complex AI concepts were explained and how th
ey connected theoretical understanding with real-world medical challenges.
\n\nThe session also provided an excellent opportunity for networking and
collaboration among technology enthusiasts and researchers from diverse do
mains.\n\nThe IEEE CTSoc and CIS extend their gratitude to Dr. Pradhan for
his valuable insights and to all participants who contributed to the even
t’s success. The chapters remain committed to hosting more such knowledg
e-sharing sessions that bridge the gap between academia and emerging techn
ological trends.\n\nBhubaneshwar\, Orissa\, India\, Virtual: https://event
