 ES Quiz 2025 on October 7\, 2025. Held as part of the global IEEE Day cele
 brations\, the event aimed to familiarize first-year students with IEEE an
 d its initiatives through a competitive quiz.\nThe primary goal of the qui
 z was to inspire first-year students to learn more about IEEE and the Powe
 r and Energy Society. By presenting a thoughtfully curated set of question
 s spanning multiple disciplines\, the event encouraged participants to exp
 lore the role of IEEE in advancing\ntechnology\, energy systems\, and engi
 neering innovation.\n\nQuiz Topics Included:\n· Power and Energy Systems\
 n· IEEE History\, Vision\, and Activities\n\nThe quiz was conducted in a 
 multiple-choice question (MCQ) format consisting of 30 questions\, promoti
 ng individual knowledge and competitive spirit. Participants displayed gre
 at enthusiasm The IEEE Day PES Quiz 2025 successfully attracted over 44 fi
 rst-year students\, creating a strong foundation for their continued invol
 vement with IEEE. The event helped raise awareness about the benefits of I
 EEE membership and PES activities. In closing\, special thanks were given 
 to the volunteers and organizing team whose efforts ensured the smooth and
  successful execution of the event\, After several competitive rounds.\n\n
 The following students were declared winners:\n· Winner: Nebin Benson\n·
  First Runner-up: Gowri V. Kumar\n· Second Runner-up: Pranav P.\nThese st
 udents have earned the opportunity to represent CCET at the upcoming State
 -Level IEEE PES Quiz Competition\, where they will compete with students f
