The sess ion began with a welcome address by Professor Khallikkunaisa\, the event o rganizer\, who briefed the participants about the contest guidelines\, eva luation criteria\, and the importance of portraying the theme effectively through photographs.\n\nDr. Manjunath Kounte\, Dean Academics\, Head of th e Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)\, and Conv ener of the IEEE event\, addressed the gathering and spoke about the impor tance of IEEE membership. He highlighted how IEEE serves as a global platf orm for students to enhance their professional skills\, participate in res earch activities\, and gain international exposure.\n\nDr. Smitha Kurian\, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering\, emphasized t he significance of organizing such IEEE events that nurture students’ te chnical acumen\, creativity\, and innovation. She appreciated the initiati ve for integrating art and technology\, reflecting how engineering can con tribute to environmental consciousness.\n\nDr. Abdul Azeez\, IEEE Head\, a lso addressed the participants and commended the department’s efforts in hosting engaging and meaningful events under the IEEE banner.
