 , Head of the Mechanical Department\, who welcomed the resource speaker an
 d emphasized the importance of professional memberships in shaping student
 s’ careers.\n\nThe event featured Dr. Renuka V. Tali\, Branch Counsellor
 \, IEEE KSSEM Student Branch\, who addressed the students on the benefits 
 of IEEE membership\, the role of the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS)
 \, and the wide array of opportunities available through IEEE for research
 \, networking\, innovation\, and career advancement.\n\nDr. Renuka highlig
 hted how IEEE membership enhances students’ technical exposure\, leaders
 hip potential\, and global visibility through participation in IEEE confer
 ences\, workshops\, contests\, and internships. She also explained the pro
 cess of joining IEEE and encouraged Mechanical students to initiate and ac
 tively participate in RAS-related technical activities and projects.\n\nTh
 e session concluded with an interactive Q&amp;A\, where students clarified the
 ir queries and expressed keen interest in becoming IEEE members and contri
 buting to the RAS chapter initiatives.\n\nThe event served as a significan
