DESCRIPTION:The workshop commenced with a welcome address by the IEEE Stude
nt Branch\ncoordinators\, followed by a brief introduction of the resource
person. Mr. Godara began the\nsession by discussing the current global en
ergy challenges and the urgent need to transition\ntowards cleaner energy
sources. He elaborated on emerging technologies such as solar\nphotovoltai
cs\, bioenergy\, fuel cells\, and smart grids.\nThe session included an in
teractive discussion on practical implementations and real-life\ncase stud
ies demonstrating how engineering innovations can shape the future of ener
gy.\nStudents actively participated and clarified their doubts\, showing g
reat enthusiasm\nthroughout the session. He also explained how MPPT helps u
s extract the maximum power\nfrom a solar panel by tracking its optimal po
int.The buck converter then steps down the DC\nvoltage to a usable level.\
nThe MPPT controller works through this converter to regulate current and
voltage efficiently.\nNext\, the solar inverter converts the DC into AC fo
r our appliances or the grid.\nSo together\, these units make solar energy
conversion smooth and efficient.”\nAfter a short lunch break \, the stu
dents were given a practical session and a hands-on\nsegment was also cond
ucted\, where participants explored basic models and design ideas\nfor eff
icient energy systems. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session and vote
of\nthanks delivered by the IEEE Student Branch representatives.\n\nNew De
