DESCRIPTION:Join the Shreveport Section at LeTourneau University for a Youn
g Professionals Panel featuring local engineers who are making meaningful
contributions to their respective fields early on in their careers. The pa
nel represents experience in the computer\, RF\, mechatronics\, and biomed
ical engineering fields within companies as small and as fresh as tech sta
rt-ups and small engineering firms\, to non-profits\, and all the way up t
o large contractors. Take the time to meet engineers in your section over
dinner\, followed by the panel discussion and Q&A.\n\nRegistration Require
d\n\nAgenda: \nSpeakers:\n\nModerator - Allen Morrison\n\nAllen Morrison i
s an RF Design Engineer at CTSi's Longview\, Texas office. He is engaged i
n the design of next-generation radios for position\, navigation\, and tim
ing (PNT) and advanced high-speed electronics for air\, sea\, and space ap
plications. He is currently the principal investigator for a Vehicle-to-Ve
hicle (V2V) concept seeking to enable widespread\, low-cost PNT security\,
with deployment this Fall. He currently serves as the IEEE Shreveport Sec
retary and Student Activities Chair. He received his M.S. from Rice Univer
sity\, with a focus on RFIC design\, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineerin
g from LeTourneau University.\n\nPanelist - Zac Poorman\n\nZac Poorman is
a Senior Full Stack Engineer and technical leader with experience architec
ting\, developing\, and maintaining full-stack and cross-platform applicat
ions for user bases of over 20\,000. His expertise spans modern technologi
es like React\, React Native\, and Python. He currently serves as a Full S
tack Developer III at Compassion International. Off the clock\, Zac contin
ues to build software\; he actively maintains several websites\, contribut
es to Free and Open Source Software (FOSS)\, and consults with ministries
on software solutions.\n\nPanelist - Natalie Mitchell\n\nNatalie graduated
from LeTourneau University in 2020 with a degree in Biomedical Engineerin
g. She spent the past few years working in data analysis\, newborn health
technology\, and safety engineering. Now embracing a new season as a full-
time mom\, she remains passionate about problem-solving\, innovation\, and
encouraging others to explore the many paths an engineering career can ta
ke.\n\nPanelist - Nathaniel Fino\n\nNathaniel earned his B.S. from LeTourn
eau University and M.S. from Rice University specializing in product resea
rch\, development\, and implementation. Nathaniel has contributed to three
startups through his career in the fields of robotics\, agriculture\, and
HVAC. Turning cutting-edge concepts into practical solutions that tackle
real local and global challenges. Working as a Mechanical Engineer III at
Helix Earth\, he helps design and implement breakthrough liquid desiccant
dehumidification tech\, first patented at Rice and implemented by NASA on
the ISS\, that drive energy efficiency\, lower costs\, and sustainable coo
ling worldwide.\n\nRoom: Great Room\, Bldg: Allen Family Student Center\,
