DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Olympiad GUB 2025 took place on October 12\, 2025\, in
Room 302\, Building A\, at the Green University of Bangladesh. The event
was organized by the IEEE Student Branch and co-organized by the IEEE Comp
uter Society Student Branch Chapter and the IEEE Power & Energy Society St
udent Branch Chapter. It aimed to engage students in a challenging and int
ellectually stimulating environment while fostering enthusiasm for technol
ogy\, engineering\, and problem-solving.\n\nThe Olympiad was divided into
two sessions to ensure fair competition among students from different acad
emic levels. The first session\, held from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM\, was desi
gned for senior students from the third and fourth years. With over thirty
participants\, this session tested their depth of knowledge in engineerin
g and analytical reasoning and their understanding of IEEE and its global
mission. The second session\, held from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM\, was dedicat
ed to junior students from the first and second years. More than forty ent
husiastic participants joined this session\, eager to showcase their growi
ng skills and curiosity. Both sessions maintained a lively atmosphere fill
ed with excitement and healthy competition\, as students demonstrated quic
k thinking and logical problem-solving.\n\nThe Olympiad covered a diverse
range of topics\, including the fundamentals of IEEE\, basic engineering p
rinciples\, IQ and logical reasoning\, and general knowledge about Banglad
esh and its well-known personalities. The event was moderated by Mr. Md. R
ajibul Palas\, who ensured smooth coordination and encouraged participants
throughout both sessions. His guidance and active supervision significant
ly contributed to the Olympiad's success\, motivating students to persist
in participating in IEEE's academic and technical activities.\n\nCo-sponso
