DESCRIPTION:SUMMARY\n\nMission\n\nTo introduce participants to FPGA technol
ogy and its applications in electronics design\, fostering interest in pro
grammable hardware and embedded systems.\n\nVision\n\nTo empower students
with practical knowledge of modern digital design techniques and inspire i
nnovation in the field of robotics and automation through FPGA-based syste
 ms.\n\nOverview\n\nThe FPGA Workshop\, organized as a pre-event of Exodium
4.0\, was conducted by IEEE RAS SBC GEC Barton Hill on 10th October 2025
from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at M312 Classroom. The workshop was led by Mr. Nij
o P\, Founder of Xylof Technology\, Electronics Design Engineer\, and form
er Chairperson of IEEE RAS GECBH. As an alumnus of the college\, Mr. Nijo
shared his journey and expertise in the field of FPGA-based design and emb
edded systems.\n\nThe session covered key aspects of Field Programmable Ga
te Arrays (FPGAs)\, including their architecture\, working principles\, an
d applications in modern electronic systems. Participants gained hands-on
insights into hardware description languages (HDL) and digital design flow
\, along with career guidance in hardware design and robotics.\n\nThe work
shop witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 25 students who acti
vely engaged with the speaker and gained a deeper understanding of reconfi
gurable computing.\n\nConclusion\n\nThe FPGA Workshop served as an enrichi
ng learning experience for all attendees. It successfully bridged the gap
between theoretical concepts and real-world applications in digital system
design. The event inspired students to explore new avenues in FPGA develo
pment\, VLSI\, and robotics research.\n\nEvent Heads: Kavya S Nair and Ada
 rsh Vinod\n\nGECBH\, Thiruvananthapuram\, Kerala\, India\, 695013
