DESCRIPTION:A Hands-On Workshop titled “Materials Simulation for Biosenso
r Design Using Materials Studio” was held on Wednesday\, 29th October 20
25\, at Computer Lab 2\, Link Road Campus. The session was organized exclu
sively for Biomedical Engineering students to provide a practical understa
nding of molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and their application in bios
ensor design.\n\nThe workshop was conducted by Engr. M. Jawad Shafique fro
m SSUET and Engr. Syed Hassan Sarwar from ZU\, both experts in the field o
f computational modeling and biomedical innovation. The session was divide
d into two main modules:\n\n-\nModule 1: Simulating Molecular Dynamics usi
ng FORCITE\n\n-\nModule 2: Analyzing MD Simulation Outcomes for Deeper Ins
ights\n\nThroughout the workshop\, participants engaged in hands-on exerci
ses using Materials Studio\, gaining valuable exposure to the simulation a
nd analysis processes essential for designing efficient biosensors.\n\nThe
session effectively bridged theoretical concepts with technological appli
cations\, enabling students to explore how computational tools can acceler
ate innovation in biomedical engineering.\n\nOverall\, the workshop was hi
ghly informative and interactive\, successfully enhancing students’ tech
nical skills and sparking interest in computational biosensor design and m
 olecular simulation techniques.\n\nKarachi\, Sindh\, Pakistan
