DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Magnetics Society Spain Chapter and the Autonoma Unive
rsity of Madrid are pleased to host a Distinguished Lecture by Prof. Yayoi
Takamura\, Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Magnetics Society and Profe
ssor at the University of California\, Davis (USA). The talk will be held
at Conference Room\, Module 0\, Faculty of Science\, Autonomous University
of Madrid.\n\nThe lecture\, titled “Tailoring Magnetic Spin Textures in
La₀.₇Sr₀.₃MnO₃-Based Micromagnets”\, will explore recent adva
nces in the design and control of magnetic spin textures in complex oxide
micromagnets. Prof. Takamura will discuss how strain\, patterning\, and in
terfacial effects can be engineered to tailor spin configurations\, provid
ing insights into the physics and potential applications of oxide-based sp
intronic devices.\n\nThis event aims to promote scientific and technical d
iscussion among researchers\, students\, and professionals interested in m
agnetism\, spintronics\, and advanced functional materials. Attendance is
free and open to all.\n\nPatricia de la Presa\n\nChair of the Spain Chapte
r of the IEEE Magnetic Society\n\nMadrid\, Madrid\, Spain
