DESCRIPTION:The IEEE WIE Affinity Group of SUP’COM successfully held the 
 second edition of WIEmpower – “Edge Tunisia: Smart Nation\, Real-Time 
 Innovation” on November 1–2\, 2025\, at SUP’COM.\nThis year’s even
 t combined both technical innovation and artistic identity\, with a theme 
 inspired by Tunisian traditions\, reflected in the decoration and atmosphe
 re.\n\nThe day began with participant registration and an engaging opening
  ceremony\, followed by an inspiring keynote “Connecting Tunisia”\, wh
 ich emphasized the role of connectivity and edge computing in national dev
 elopment.\n\nParticipants then attended two soft skills workshops\, The Ar
 t of Pitching and Negotiation Skills\, helping them strengthen communicati
 on and entrepreneurial abilities. After a short coffee break\, two technic
 al sessions took place: AI in Practice and Edge Intelligence\, providing d
 eep insights into emerging technologies shaping real-time innovation.\n\nA
 fter lunch\, a hackathon preparation workshop introduced participants to t
 he challenge framework and problem statements. The day culminated with the
  official hackathon launch\, where teams began prototyping solutions that 
 apply edge computing and AI to practical Tunisian contexts.\n\nThe event f
 ostered collaboration\, creativity\, and empowerment\, reinforcing WIE’s
  commitment to inspiring women and students to innovate for a smarter and
