Integrating syst ems thinking ensures that these technological advancements lead to outcome s that are sustainable\, ethical\, and centered around human well-being.\n This lecture will explore how viewing global challenges as interconnected socio-technical ecosystems enables quantum technologies to create transfor mative\, long-term impact rather than isolated technical gains.\n\nSpeaker Bio:\nCol. Kapil Jaiswal (Retd)\, an alumnus of Indian Institute of Scien ces (IISc)\, Bangalore\; IIM\, Kolkata and an Indian Army veteran is prese ntly Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Quantum AI Global and QuLabs\, both Quantum deep tech companies. In his previous national level roles\, he ha s headed Directorate of Systems Applications (DSA) as Director from 2016 t o 2020 and then been Senior Director Research (INFOSEC & AI/ML) from 2021 to 2024\; both under the Ministry of Defense\, India. As Senior Director R esearch (INFOSEC & AI/ML)\, he has led the Research team of 100+ Research Scientists & Engineers. His research interests are in the domain of Quantu m Technology\, InfoSec\, PQC\, AI/ML & QMLs.\n\nIn addition\, he is also A djunct Professor\, Computer Science department with Amrita University\, Co imbatore\, India and collaborating with India School of Business\, Hyderab ad and IIT\, Hyderabad on deep tech research. He has been recently recogni sed as one of the top 10 leading deep tech CTOs of India and figured on th e cover of a prominent business magazine.
