DESCRIPTION:Abstract: In this talk\, we explore recent advances in distribu
ted integrated sensing and communications (ISAC). We adopt a broad view of
coexistence that includes ISAC\, collaborative communications\, and sensi
ng in the presence of interference. Achieving true coexistence requires ca
reful resource optimization for both next-generation sensing and wireless
communication systems. The synergy between state sensing and communication
s creates new opportunities for modern signal processing and information-t
heoretic methods. Building on current approaches\, the lecture highlights
emerging scenarios in collaborative and distributed ISAC\, especially at m
m-Wave and THz frequencies and in fast-changing vehicular or automotive en
vironments where information exchange is valuable. It also outlines archit
ectures and methods for mutually beneficial distributed co-design\, includ
ing sensor fusion and heterogeneous radar-communication deployments.\n\nII
