DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the RWU Computer Science Senior Presentations. This
is part of a two-semester group project where each team works for a differ
ent client. The first semester focuses on analysis and design with second
semester focused on implementation and turn over. Each presentation is abo
ut 20 minutes\, with a few minutes for questions. Here is the schedule for
today’s presentations\n\n2:00 Neurocast: Integrated Computational Frame
work for Time Series Forecasting Powered by Generative AI and Accelerated
Computing.\n\nThis project explores the integration of transformer-based G
enerative AI models with accelerated computing platforms to advance sequen
tial data modeling and time series forecasting. By combining theoretical r
igor\, empirical validation\, and practical applications\, this project de
monstrates how Generative AI\, and accelerated computing can be harnessed
to improve forecasting accuracy\, optimize computational workflows\, and p
rovide actionable insights in environmental science and climate study.\nCl
ient Dr. Bhandari (Math Faculty)\nTeam: Alex Gardenier\, Wanjiku Maina\, D
 rew Mastovsky Lourdes Rodriguez\n\n2:30 Vision-based Packing:\n\nThe proje
ct involves developing an vision/video based application for organizing pa
cking information. The program will take as input a video of a person pack
ing various items into numbered boxes and generate a list of items placed
in each box. Client: Dr. Ramaji (Construction Management Faculty)\nTeam: M
 ax Manjos\, Peter Nolan\, Evan Rapoza\, Joshua Tourigny\n\n2:55 Constructi
on Management-focused Hiring Platform:\n\nThis is the second year of a pro
ject which is focusing on migrating last years PC based hiring platform to
smart phones. The goal is for contractors to quickly identify union worke
r needs and have union workers able to rapidly respond to vacancies. It is
replacing an index-card based system.\nClients: Dr. Ghanem and Dr Gomes (
 Construction Management Faculty)\nTeam: Aidan Connaughton\, Connor Hardin\
 , Cassidy Methot\n\n3:20 Integrisec\n\nThe team is developing a user-frien
dly yet powerful network visibility tool that performs real-time scanning
and generates actionable insights for system administrators and cybersecur
ity professionals. The project is focusing on supporting various Cyber com
petitions.\nClient: Initially Mr. Ramala RWU IT\, currently Dr Yeo\, NetSe
 c Adjunct Faculty\nTeam: Mike Giles\, Guhan Jeong\, Riley King\, Benjamin
Mihalovich\n\n3:55 Automated Funding and Resources Manager\n\nThe team is
developing a standalone tool that allows a user to input charge code speci
fications per employee and automatically calculates charge code distributi
ons based off of these inputs. Outputs of this application will be saved t
 o a database.\nClients: Jonathan Pereira\, Maya Umehara\, Kyle Furtado\nTe
am: Emma Bolduc\, Hector Gonzalez\, Gavin Jeong\, Eric Tech\n\n4:20 Consol
idated Schedule Automation\n\nThe consolidated schedule is a schedule manu
ally created for managing the labs at NUWC for testing on the Combat Syste
 m. The team is developing an that makes the scheduler’s job automated an
d the schedule easier to manage as lab scheduling is always fluctuating.\n
 Client: Jessica Duncan\nTeam: Natallie Forno\, Matthew Guaman\, Napolean S
uderman\, Brady Thibaudeau\n\n4:55 Zero Trust Dynamic Policy Dashboard\n\n
Recent federal guidelines have dictated that Naval combat systems must adh
ere to the tenets of a Zero Trust Architecture as specified in NIST SP800-
 207. The dynamic policy must include the observable state of client identi
ty\, application/service\, and the requesting asset\, as well as other beh
avioral and environmental attributes. The team is developing two applicati
 ons to support the Naval Cyber Officer.\nClients: Ben Drozdenko\, Ph.D.\;
