DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering Student Branch su
ccessfully organized IEEE Xtreme 19.0 – 24-Hour Hackathon on 25th Octobe
r 2025 at the Siemens Lab under the Department of Electronics and Communic
ation Engineering. As a globally recognized programming competition conduc
ted annually by IEEE\, the Xtreme series provides a rigorous platform for
students to test their coding efficiency\, analytical thinking\, and colla
borative skills. Echoing this spirit\, the Student Branch of SIRCRRCOE cur
ated a highly engaging and intellectually stimulating environment that enc
ouraged participants to challenge their limits and pursue technical excell
ence.\n\nThe event began with active participation and coordination by the
IEEE Executive Committee (ExCom) members who played a key role in the pla
nning\, promotion\, and execution of the hackathon. Their efforts ensured
 professional organization\, smooth logistics\, and a positive atmosphere c
onducive to focused problem-solving. Throughout the day\, participants wer
e exposed to a series of programming challenges inspired by real-world app
lications\, algorithmic problem sets\, and logic-based tasks preparing the
m for the global IEEE Xtreme competition format. Students worked individua
lly or in teams to approach tasks strategically\, allocate time effectivel
y\, and implement optimized solutions within the competitive time frame.\n
\nA central objective of the IEEE Xtreme 19.0 Hackathon was to strengthen
participants’ programming capabilities while nurturing qualities such as
teamwork\, logical reasoning\, and perseverance. The tasks designed for t
he event required participants to think creatively\, analyze problems from
multiple perspectives\, and design solutions that demonstrated both techn
ical accuracy and computational efficiency. This hands-on exposure helped
students gain confidence in their coding skills and significantly enhanced
their preparedness for future national and international technical compet
itions.\n\nIn addition to task-solving\, the event promoted collaborative
learning\, as students openly shared ideas\, discussed approaches\, and le
arned from one another’s strategies. The Siemens Lab offered a well-equi
pped\, technically supportive environment that allowed participants to wor
k comfortably and efficiently throughout the competition. The clear schedu
le highlighted in the event poster—9:00 AM to 4:00 PM—helped maintain
discipline\, punctuality\, and structure across the activities conducted d
uring the day.\n\nThe presence and involvement of faculty coordinators fur
ther enriched the experience. Their guidance\, encouragement\, and mentori
ng provided participants with the motivation to approach challenges with d
edication and professionalism. The event also aligned with the broader mis
sion of IEEE\, which emphasizes advancing technology for humanity by empow
ering students through opportunities that hone their technical aptitude an
 d problem-solving mindset.\n\nIEEE Xtreme 19.0 at Sir C R Reddy College of
Engineering not only showcased the talent\, enthusiasm\, and potential of
the student community but also strengthened the visibility and impact of
the IEEE Student Branch within the institute. The successful execution of
the event stands as a testament to the commitment of the Student Branch to
ward fostering innovation\, enhancing technical competency\, and cultivati
ng a culture of continuous learning. With its combination of competitive r
igor\, teamwork\, and academic relevance\, the hackathon proved to be a va
luable and inspiring experience for all participants\, setting a strong fo
undation for future IEEE-led initiatives and technical engagements at the
 institution.\n\n[]\n\n[]\n\nAgenda: \n-\nTo provide students with a compet
itive platform to enhance their coding\, analytical\, and problem-solving
skills through real-world programming challenges.\n\n-\nTo encourage teamw
ork\, innovation\, and collaborative learning in a structured 24-hour hack
athon environment.\n\n-\nTo strengthen the technical culture of the IEEE S
tudent Branch by aligning with IEEE’s mission of advancing technology an
 d fostering continuous learning.\n\nSir C R Reddy College of Engineering\,
