DESCRIPTION:In this seminar I will discuss CP violation from several angles
:\ni)- The spontaneous origin of CP violation from the complex vacuum expe
ctation value of a scalar singlet. I will show its relevance for leptogene
sis and leptonic CP violation in neutrino oscillations (JHEP 01 (2023) 010
)\, as well as\, its key role at addressing the strong CP problem via the
 Nelson-Barr mechanism (Phys.Rev.D 108 (2023) 9\, 095003).\nii)- The dynami
cal axion solution to the strong CP problem. Namely\, I will discuss a DFS
Z axion model extended with two right-handed neutrinos (νDFSZ) supplement
 ed with flavored Peccei-Quinn symmetries (arXiv:2504.00088 [hep-ph]). In t
his νDFSZ scheme we systematically determine the simplest quark and lepto
n flavor patterns compatible with masses\, mixing and CP violation data\,
discuss axion dark matter production in pre and post-inflationary cosmolog
y\, and determine the predictions for the axion couplings to photons and f
 ermions.\n\nHenrique Brito Câmara\n\nIEAP\, CTU in Prague\, Husova 240/5\
