DESCRIPTION:1. Event details\n\nEvent Title: GreenCon 4.0 Carthage Re-Gen:
Engineering Tunisia’s Regenerative Future\nDate: April 1\, 2026\nTime: 2
:00 PM – 6:00 PM\nLocation: ENIT\n\nOrganised by: IAS IES PES JC and sig
ht group ENIT SB\n\nObjective: GreenCon 4.0 aims to drive regenerative inn
ovation by bringing together young talents to design practical solutions r
ooted in circular economy principles for a more sustainable Tunisian futur
e.\n\n2. Attendees:\n\n30 Participants\n\n3. description:\n\n1. Introducti
on\n\nGreenCon 4.0 marked the fourth edition of a forward-thinking ideatho
n focused on advancing Tunisia’s transition from sustainability to regen
eration through circular-economy innovation \, the event aimed to empower
participants to develop creative\, impactful solutions to address environm
ental and societal challenges.\n\n2. Event Overview\n\nThe ideathon gather
ed 30 participants\, divided into 6 groups\, fostering collaboration and i
nterdisciplinary thinking. The event began with an opening session introdu
cing:\n\n-\nThe IEEE Student Branch and its mission\n\n-\nThe concept and
objectives of GreenCon and its 4th edition\n\n-\nThe evaluation criteria a
nd competition framework\n\nParticipants were then provided with a specifi
cation booklet outlining the challenge and expectations.\n\nWe had the cha
nce to welcome Ms Nihel Ben Amar\, who shared valuable insights about her
experience within the UNESCO Ambassador Program as well as the IEEE SIGHT
initiatives. Her intervention provided participants with a broader perspec
tive on the impact of technology-driven projects in addressing real-world
societal challenges.\n\n3. Jury Panel\n\nThe ideathon was evaluated by a d
istinguished panel of experts:\n\n-\nNihel Ben Amar\nEnergy Engineer\, PhD
in Industrial Process Engineering\, Professor at INSAT\, and researcher a
t LAMSIN (ENIT). She is also Tunisia’s National Representative for the H
orizon Europe Mission “Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities” and UNESCO Ch
air holder in Water\, Waste\, and Energy.\n\n-\nOumayma Sghayri\nTelecommu

xpert\, and active member in multiple IEEE committees.\n\n-\nHadil Drissi\
nIEEE Tunisia Section Student Chapters Coordinator\, IEEE PES R8 SCC Vice
Chair\, and Master’s student in Entrepreneurial Marketing & Innovation.\
n\n4. Ideation Phase\n\nFollowing the briefing\, participants engaged in a
n intensive 2 hours ideation session\, where each group worked on proposin
g innovative regenerative solutions aligned with circular economy principl
es.\nA short break was scheduled toward the end of this phase to maintain
productivity and engagement.\n\n5. Pitching Session\n\nAt 5:00 PM\, each g
roup presented their ideas to the jury through structured pitches for 6 mi
