DESCRIPTION:The IEEE ULAB Student Branch\, in collaboration with the ULAB S
ocial Welfare Club (USWC) and Rhythm Blood Centre\, organized a comprehens
ive health and humanitarian drive. Held on November 24th\, the event featu
red a voluntary blood donation program\, a free medical camp\, and a blood
grouping drive to promote community health and provide life-saving resour
ces to local patients\n\nThe "Blood Grouping\, Voluntary Blood Donation\,
and Free Medical Campaign" was a multi-day initiative designed to foster a
spirit of selflessness and social responsibility within the university co
mmunity.\n\nThe campaign was executed in two distinct phases:\n\n-\nPre-Ev
ent Registration (Day 1–3): For three days leading up to the main event\
, physical booths and online registration forms were managed by student vo
lunteers. This phase focused on raising awareness about the importance of
blood donation and screening potential donors. By the end of the registrat
ion period\, over 50+ donors had committed to the cause.\n\n-\nThe Main Ev
ent (November 24th): On the day of the drive\, the ULAB campus was transfo
rmed into a medical hub. Supported by the Rhythm Blood Centre and the ULAB
Student Affairs Office\, professional medical teams conducted:\n\n-\nSafe
Blood Collection: Collecting vital units of blood for local hospitals.\n\
n-\nBlood Grouping: Providing students and staff with accurate information
about their blood types.\n\n-\nFree Medical Consultations: Offering basic
health check-ups and medical advice to the community.\n\nImpact and Achie
vement\n\nThe event successfully bridge the gap between young volunteers a
nd medical professionals. By securing a significant number of blood units\
, the initiative directly contributed to local healthcare supplies. Furthe
rmore\, it empowered students to take an active role in social welfare\, r
einforcing the IEEE mission of "Advancing Technology for Humanity" through
direct community service.\n\nAgenda: \nTo provide life-saving blood units
for local patients while fostering a culture of humanitarian service and
health awareness within the university community\n\nULAB Permeanent Campus
